We have an exciting opportunity to join the SCIS leadership team as a Vice President of Sales.

As a leader, you'll drive business development activities nationwide in collaboration with sector leadership and field management to grow the sector portfolio. Your innovative mindset will direct marketing initiatives tailored to graded leads. As well as identify opportunities for solutions-based sales incorporating additional specialized service capabilities.

As a rapidly growing subsidiary of Securitas AB, we often work in support of affiliate companies Securitas USA and Securitas Electronic Security. Reporting to the Aerospace & Defense Sector President the position will be based in Dumfries, Virginia.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead a nationwide sales program leveraging regional and local management teams and proficiency utilizing an online prospect management database.

Participates in the Companys strategic planning and provides leadership for the national sales strategy and business development.

Develop and manage a progressive, aggressive, and innovative sales and marketing program to grow a profitable base of business.

Works with the District Directors and affiliate company representatives to identify business potential and determine top prospects for Aerospace/Defense opportunities.

Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.

Identifies market opportunities for and pursues solutions-based sales using various SCIS technology integration options, specialized services capabilities, and Corporate Risk Management offerings.

Prepares reports on status of leads and other reports as required.

Arranges for appropriate meetings and presentations on Company capabilities in relation to existing and potential clients.

Creates proposals for strategic prospect relationships.  Manages the content library of proposal resources.  Provides quality assurance and oversight of all proposals delivered to prospects.

Creates and conducts sales presentations to prospective customers.

Develops methods for presentation of capabilities, data to be utilized, audio/visual approach and pricing related to considering client perception of need and Company business goals; directs proposal presentation effort and may lead presentations.

Participates in trade associations and trade shows and works with Marketing and other Sales Divisions to assist in other promotional efforts.

Assists and drives financial response for customer opportunities, including identifying costing elements to develop sales proposals.

Builds strong and enduring relationships and partnerships internally and externally.

Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain the required level of Department of Defense (DoD) Security Clearance. 
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements.

Education/Experience

  • Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible business development experience.
  • A Bachelors degree with a business or sales and marketing concentration is preferred.
  • Proficiency utilizing an online prospect management database is preferred.
  • A successful candidate must demonstrate outstanding teamwork and leadership skills, dynamic communication abilities, and effective negotiation tactics.

 

 

Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.
